CORVALLIS, Ore. -- After knocking off two ranked opponents, No. 18 Oregon State is back in the Top 25 for the first time since 2010.
Now the Beavers head on the road for the second straight week as they face Arizona on Saturday.
But unlike their first two games, when Oregon State had an extra week to prepare, this time the Beavers have the normal five days.
"It's different obviously for the first time this year, but it's really Tuesday for us," said Mike Riley. "What we did today was a Tuesday preparation. Regardless of any of the time before hand. It seems pretty normal."
The Beavers are preparing for another duel threat quarterback this week in Arizona's Matt Scott.
Despite throwing three interceptions against the Ducks, the Oregon State defense knows he can be dangerous when he gets out of the pocket.
"He's crazy," says defensive coordinator Mark Banker about Scott. "He's one of these quarterbacks that you dread. If you're not sound in your rush against him and make sure you secure the edges on him, he gets outside and now that puts a strain on the coverage."
The Beavers and Wildcats kick off at 7:00 PM from Tucson.
