EUGENE, Ore. -- Tiwanna Hamilton's game tying three pointer was overshadowed by a costly foul, which helped the Willamette girls finish off the season sweep of Sheldon 37-35 on Thursday night.
Down three with less than 20 seconds to play, Sheldon's Hamilton tied the game at 35 with a clutch three pointer.
But a costly foul led to two Lexi Bando free throws with 12 seconds to play.
Sheldon had several chances to tie the game, but the Irish couldn't get anything to drop.
Willamette improved to 15-3 on the season. Sheldon fell to 14-5.
