NORTH BEND, Ore. -Making the long trip down the coast Friday were the Astoria Fishermen, coming to battle the North Bend Lady Bulldogs for a shot in the state tournament.

After losing the league title by just one point at Suthlin last week, the number two Bulldogs looked to come back out on top.

Pulling out to an early lead, Brooke Davison is on a mission as she would drive it down the right side and takes all the way to the basket.

Up by eight now, a loose ball is converted for the Fishermen's first field goal of the night as their high scorer, Jordan Thoreson squares up to the hoop.

Down on the Bulldog end, it's a classic pick and roll for Super Mateski and Haley Dunham, as Dunham dances down the lane for two more.

On fire for the night, Davison drills a three as she breaks her season record with 28 points for the night.

North Bend becomes part of the the elite eight, winning 53-45 over Astoria. They'll move on to the State Tournament in Corvallis this Wednesday, March 10, going up against Cottage Grove.
