Hannah Rodrigues scored a game-high 26 points as Sheldon rolled to a 79-61 victory over McNary in the first round of the 6A girls playoffs.
The Irish were in complete control of the game by halftime, leading 42-22. Sheldon led by 26 in the third quarter before winning by 18.
Kristin Clark scored 18 and Ashley Land added 11 for the Irish. Sheldon advances to the second round and will play at Central Catholic on Friday. The winner of that game will advance to the 6A state tournament at the Rose Garden beginning on March 7th.
Elsewhere, Thurston lost on the road to number one ranked South Medford, 76-31. South Eugene fell to Westview, 58-37 and Roseburg lost to Clackamas, 62-31.
