LAS VEGAS (AP) - Ty Lawson scored 26 points and the Denver Nuggets defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 111-93 Friday night in the NBA Summer League.

Sonny Weems scored 24 points off the bench for the Nuggets, who are 2-1 in the Summer League.

Jerryd Bayless had 19 points for the Blazers, who are 0-3 in Las Vegas. Bobby Jones added 18.

The Blazers were without second-round draft pick Dante Cunningham because of a groin injury. The 6-foot-8 forward out of Villanova is listed as day-to-day.

Cunningham averaged 21.5 points and 7.0 rebounds through two Summer League games.
