Verland Reavis celebrated his 100th birthday with family, friends, ex-students, and hundreds of well-wishers on 11/29/2011 at the Eagles Lodge in Coos Bay. This is a video of his first dance of the night with his longtime ladyfriend, Donna Kirby.

I'm sad to report that Verland passed away on May 16th. No funeral services per his request.
