Verland Reavis

Loss of a Local Legend

Verland Reavis, who taught math at Marshfield High School from 1945 through 1975, passed away today 05/16/2012 at the age of 100. He started the Coos Education Federal Credit Union in the basement of the high school in 1953. He also loved to dance and did a lot of it at his 100th birthday party last November...I even got to waltz with him! Now, he's waltzing with his late wife!!
