Ethereal and Surreal

The fog in Winchester Bay was unusually low-lying tonight - definitely not the normal marine layer fog. Hilltops were peeking through the top of the fog bank, looking like they were floating in the clouds. Clouds above the fog were lit up by the setting sun.

Thank you very much Kim! I wish my photos could do it justice! Tourists and locals alike were mesmerized by the view and chatting about the vivid pink fog lit up by the setting sun.

These are awesome! I agree with Mike and love the boat harbor shot, but they are always good! (:

Thank you so much for the great comment/compliment! It was definitely one of the most beautiful fog scenes I've ever witnessed around here. Everyone was stopping and snapping photos of the ethereal scenery!

Fantastic set of fog photos. I especially like the one at the boat harbor with the trees peaking out as the fog rolls down the hill and the setting sun casting a rosy coloring to the fog. Very nicely done. Mike
