I think I should have been a storm chaser. Being depressed in winter is an ongoing thing to some Oregonians, and as such I decided to take a walk in the storm that was raging that day in December. I was greeted at the shore by a sea as agitated as I was and I knew I was going to see something spectacular. So I set up my camera and waited. I caught this perfectly monstrous wave at Shore Acres in Coos Bay. I love standing in the weather when its the meanest.
