Heavy rains hit the Oregon coast, along with high winds, thunder and lightning. The high winds caused heavy, stormy seas that were very impressive to watch. The coast is the place to be if you like to watch big waves roll in. The parking area in front of the Umpqua Lighthouse provides a great place to watch the ocean from a safe distance.
