My work shop is directely behind this house on Lund Ave, my shop is on Ocean Blvd next to the shell gas station coming out of my shop at approx 2pm this afternoon, I could hear the crackling and popping I then saw all the black smoke and I thought, "Oh no" the back of my shop was on fire but then I could see that the smoke was coming from a different location I could see the flames though the trees so I grabbed my camera and took these shots, just about that time the fire dept arrived on scene and went to work to put it out.

Why would you pick up a camera first...why not the phone for 911...What would you have done if there was a loss in life...kids.elderly.handicaped.parents.pets...I sure hope if your home was ever on fire someone would call 911 instead of their camera!
